All about First Melodies
My name is Kirsty Clinch, founder of the Award winning music school First Melodies. Winner of Theo Paphitis, Small Buisness Sunday 2023! #SBS
Your first steps into music, melodies and making memories.
I created First Melodies to create a safe, unique and fun learning environment for children looking to learn about music. As a child I also had guitar and singing lessons, & as much as I loved them, I never had any interest in grades, and this actually almost ended my interest in music.
However, after going to a few youth singing groups & singing in school, I found that music was more about having fun, being creative and expressing yourself more.
I had a dream since I was little that one day I would have my own music school, and it would be the best out there!
After saving for years, mapping out a plan in my head, and doing jobs I didn't fully love and have the same passion for. I finally created First Melodies. Now everyday is a passionate & enjoyable working day for me. I can share my knowledge and inspire the next generation of musicians & I love that about First Melodies. I am proud everyday of all my students. They inspire me!
As a result, as a full time musician for over 20 years, a level 3 nursery nurse and a distinction in music practice.
I now proudly offer one to one singing lessons, guitar lessons and ukulele lessons., where you pick the songs & goals, you want to learn. I have also also recently added a new singing group to the mix.
As an added extra to all, we can make YouTube videos on our schools channel and we put on a few shows throughout the year.
I also created, and am still in the process of creating children's music books, which are available on Amazon and interactive via YouTube channel too.
